Silymarin from Life Pro is a dietary supplement based on standardized silymarin obtained from milk thistle – a plant traditionally used in various regions of Asia, Europe, and India.
Silymarin consists of standardized active substances: milk thistle dry extract (Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn., seeds) with 80% silymarin and 30% silibinin.
Its main effect is due to the silymarin content. Silymarin contains various active substances, the most important of which is silibinin.
Silymarin has been reported to have a positive effect on cholesterol, metabolism control, and various liver enzymes that may be altered. Therefore, its use may help control liver dysfunction and oxidative stress, as well as reduce the main symptoms of liver function degeneration.
Each capsule contains 416.5 mg of dry milk thistle extract, including 333 mg of silymarin and 125 mg of silibinin.
