"Yamamoto® Carnitine is a dietary supplement containing 1000 mg per tablet of carnitine (carnitine tartrate), useful in situations where dietary intake of this nutrient is reduced.
Carnitine is a vitamin-like compound responsible for transporting long-chain fatty acids into the energy-producing cell: the mitochondria.
Its importance lies in the key role it plays in transporting fatty acids within the mitochondria. Since the fatty acid carrier molecule acyl-CoA cannot cross the mitochondrial cell membrane, carnitine deficiency results in a reduction in the concentration of fatty acids in the mitochondria, leading to a reduction in energy production.
The fatty acids have to be transferred from CoA to carnitine. The acetyl-l-carnitine molecule carries the fatty acid to the inner surface of the mitochondrial membrane, where it is released to be converted into energy (the fat is "burned").

Ingredients: L-Carnitine Tartrate, stabiliser: microcrystalline cellulose; adhesive: silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.
Suggested Use: Take 1 tablet daily with water, preferably before breakfast or before training.
Allergens: the product is manufactured in facilities that produce products containing milk, eggs, wheat and soya.

Storage conditions: Store in a dry place out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding +25ºC. Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.
