Yamamoto® Nutrition AKG TABS is an arginine alpha-ketoglutarate dietary supplement, useful in cases where less of this nutrient is consumed with food.

The arginine alpha-ketoglutarate in the composition is the amino acid arginine bound to alpha-ketoglutarate - a key intermediate in the Krebs cycle and amino acid metabolism.
Alpha-ketoglutarate is one of the most important nitrogen carriers in metabolic processes.
Arginine, as a precursor of nitric oxide (NO), is increasingly popular among athletes.
Alpha-ketoglutarate is a keto acid formed by deaminating glutamate and plays an important role in the energy processes of human cells.
